Press Print on the one you need.
Keep score on your phone instead. The free spades score keeper adds up bids, bags, nil and blind nil for you, with your table’s house rules. No app to install.
Each sheet prints on one page. Press its Print button, or choose Save as PDF in the print window to keep a copy.
How to fill in a hand
- Write each team’s bid: both partners’ bids added together. Write a nil as “N” next to the partner’s bid (for example “N + 4”).
- After the hand, write the tricks each team took.
- Made it? Score 10 a trick bid, plus 1 for each extra trick. Add the extra tricks to the bags column.
- Set? Score minus 10 a trick bid.
- Nil: plus 100 if the nil bidder took no tricks, minus 100 if they took any. A failed nil’s tricks are bags.
- Bags reach 10? Subtract 100 and carry any extra bags forward.
- First team to 500 wins. The scoring rules have worked examples.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you keep score in spades?
After each hand, write each team's combined bid and the tricks it took. If it took at least its bid, add 10 points a trick bid plus 1 for each extra trick, and add those extra tricks to its bags. If it took fewer, subtract 10 a trick bid. Score each nil on its own: plus 100 if the bidder took no tricks, minus 100 if they took any. Every 10 bags, subtract 100.
Is there an app to keep score in spades?
You don't need one. The SpadesBid score keeper runs in your phone's browser, applies bags, nil and blind nil with your table's house rules, and keeps the game if your phone goes to sleep.
Do you have a printable spades tournament bracket?
Yes. There's an 8-team and a 16-team single-elimination bracket at the bottom of this page, each on one page, with a line for each team's two players.
